Whew, what a 2 1/2 weeks!

Week before last Carmen had a nasty cold and had to miss a day of school. Poor thing...she cried and cried cause she didn't want to stay home! Of course she was doing better by afternoon! urrggghhhh

Thanksgiving week was okay. She only had school one day that week. On Thanksgiving day, she ended up going home with a friend and spending the night! We went shopping the next day and got to get a Polly Pocket! Now that is what she wants for Christmas! She is telling everyone she knows that gets her gifts where to find them!

We put up the tree the following day but waited until she was home to decorate it.

We ended up getting her Christmas material for her without her. We had entertained thoughts of letting her pick it out but I already had something in mind. She is happy though cause it does match a pair of shoes that she had nothing to with.

We had Family Fun storytime Monday night. Made 6 ornaments for the tree. Well actually 5 as the 6th one went to NY (it was an angel). She had fun making the different ornaments and then hanging them on the tree the next day.

That evening while she was in the tub.... Daddy put up lights in her room. She was surprised to get out of the tub and see colored lights in her window!

She had regular storytime today. Which we walked to in the rain!! After storytime (luckly another mom brought us home as it was really pouring) she went over to another friend's house! She just loves to be on the go!

Friday she gets to decorate a ginger bread house at the library. It should be interesting to see what she does! Can't wait!
